Ethan grew up in Kaukauna, Wisconsin, and carries that do-the-work mentality into everything. He earned his BBA at the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire and his MBA through the University of Wisconsin MBA Consortium — while holding down full-time marketing jobs and recording a podcast at night.

In 2022, still a college student, he cold-emailed Dennis Yu — the former search-engine engineer who has spent more than a billion dollars on ads for brands like Nike and Red Bull — and asked for honest feedback. Most students never send that email. Ethan sent it, took the criticism, and kept showing up: weekly office hours, training programs, and real campaign reps through the BlitzMetrics AI Apprentice program alongside operators like Dan Leibrandt and George Paladichuk.
